We are seeking a committed Missionary Evangelist to support the advancement of our Christian charitable objectives. The role is ministerial in nature and suited to an individual with a clear calling to evangelism, teaching, and pastoral ministry.
Key Responsibilities
Person Specification
- Preach and teach the Christian gospel in outreach and community settings
- Lead prayer meetings, worship, and evangelistic events
- Carry out missionary and evangelistic outreach locally and nationally
- Teach biblical doctrine and support discipleship and spiritual growth
- Provide pastoral care, prayer support, and spiritual guidance
- Represent the organisation in a recognised ministerial capacity
- Support ministry planning, outreach programmes, and volunteers
- Undertake limited ministry-related administrative duties
Essential
- Committed Christian with a clear calling to evangelistic ministry
- Alignment with the organisation’s Christian beliefs and values
- Experience or training in Christian ministry, evangelism, or pastoral work
- Strong biblical knowledge and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a ministry team
Desirable
- Experience in church leadership or mission work
- Ministry training or theological education
- Experience in community outreach, multicultural ministry and ministry work
Employment Details
Full Time position (35 hours)
Salary: £23,136 per annum
Start date: March 2026
